Early childhood education programs are essential for the millions of children and families they serve and play an important role during emergency public health and economic emergencies. Child Care Aware® of America has partnered with Yale University Professors Walter Gilliam and Eli Fenichel and their colleagues to promote and disseminate this interactive map that estimates the child care needs of essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, we are offering technical assistance and collateral content that support:
- Local, state, and national entities responsible for child care planning
- Advocacy partners and policymakers
- Child care operators
Want to learn more? Don’t miss the recorded webinar from March 25 that supports and outlines the work behind the map.
