Alicia Gottenberg, Senior Director of Contracts and Procurement
Alicia Gottenberg oversees a portfolio of federally funded contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants from the government and private foundations. She acts as In-house Counsel for the organization, advising on matters including corporate compliance, protection of intellectual property, and defense against claims.
Alicia brings more than 25 years of experience in federal government contracting, including more than 15 years of experience as a director of contracts and procurement, and contracts manager overseeing federal and state government contracts, subcontracts, and grants, as well as commercial contracts and software licensing agreements. Alicia is an attorney with demonstrated effectiveness building departments including developing policies, establishing standards and procedures, and hiring and developing staff. She also has an outstanding ability to guide technical staff and senior leaders in interpreting contractual requirements to effectively achieve contract compliance and profitability, and advance organizational objectives and priorities. She has demonstrated business acumen and expertise in strategic planning and implementation as well as risk identification and mitigation.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin.
