Amanda Green, Senior Director of Healthy Child Care Initiatives
As the Senior Director of Healthy Child Care Initiatives, Amanda Green drives Child Care Aware of America’s efforts to improve the health and safety of our child care system. She launched the National Advisory Council on Healthy Child Care to provide expert guidance supporting equitable, resilient, and high-quality care environments.
Prior to this role, during her 14-year tenure at Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Amanda leveraged her strategic vision and ability to drive systemic change to lead national programs that have reached over 31 million children nationwide.
Amanda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and English from Florida State University; a master’s degree in management, with an emphasis on corporate social responsibility, from the University of South Florida; and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University.
