Sandra Bishop, Ph.D., Senior Director of Research
Sandra Bishop joined Child Care Aware of America in March 2024 as Senior Director of Research. She comes to CCAoA from Council for a Strong America. Before joining CSA, Sandra was Assistant Director of Yale University’s Edward Zigler Center in Child Development & Social Policy, and an Associate Research Scientist at the Child Study Center, Yale University School of Medicine. She also worked on Capitol Hill, on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Sandra holds an A. B. in Psychology from Harvard /Radcliffe College, a master’s degree in Child Development from Tufts University, and a doctorate in Developmental Psychology from Yale University.
