Jessica Pika, Senior Director of Stategic Communications 

Jessica Pika is the Senior Director of Stategic Communications at Child Care Aware of America, bringing with her over two decades of experience driving visibility and impact for mission-driven organizations in social justice and public policy. She leads CCAoA’s strategic communications efforts, marketing, and brand initiatives, working to drive narrative shift about the child care crisis in the United States. 

In her previous role as Communications Director at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), Jessica developed high-impact strategies that advanced CSSP’s public profile and promoted an equity-focused policy agenda. She spearheaded digital strategy initiatives focused on policy change in the fields of economic security, LGBTQ+ youth support, culturally responsive family services, child welfare, and mental health. 

With over a decade of experience in reproductive health at Power to Decide, Jessica also led communications efforts that championed awareness for family planning and reproductive health, reinforcing her dedication to accessible and inclusive health policies. 

Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in Strategic Communications and Digital Strategy from the University of Oklahoma.
